Responsibilities
We are seeking a talented and experienced Healthcare Senior Associate with a strong background in inquests to join our dynamic Newcastle team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing a diverse portfolio of healthcare cases, focusing on inquests and related healthcare matters. Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in inquest proceedings, including preparation and advocacy.
- Provide expert legal advice on healthcare matters, including clinical negligence, regulatory issues, and patient safety.
- Manage a caseload of healthcare cases with minimal supervision, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of services.
- Collaborate with clients, medical professionals, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and evidence.
- Prepare and review legal documents, including witness statements, reports, and correspondence.
- Stay updated on relevant legal developments and contribute to the team's knowledge base.
- Participate in business development activities and contribute to the growth of the healthcare practice.
