About the Role

Leicestershire County Council is looking for a dynamic professional to have responsibility for ensuring the effective support and management of the Leicestershire Health and Wellbeing Board and programme of work. This will include the planning and delivery of key Board products, development sessions, projects and action plans.

The post holder will be embedded within the Council's Public Health department and will support the successful delivery of the Leicestershire Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy 2022-2032 and lead the communication and engagement strategy to strengthen the Board's relationship with our local communities.

This is a key role within the council and will work with key partners and agencies to ensure that the Health and Wellbeing Board fulfils its statutory responsibilities. With the Health and Wellbeing Board evolving, this is an exciting time to join the team to collectively improve health outcomes and reduce health inequalities across Leicestershire.

About You

To apply for this post, you must:

  • An understanding of the role, responsibilities and functions of a Health and Wellbeing Board and how it fits in the wider Integrated Care System
  • Experience of building effective partnerships/working relationships at senior level
  • A proven track record of working effectively in a multi-agency environment
  • Demonstrable skills in programme or project management
  • Commitment to inter-agency working and to continued improvement in practice and performance

You must also have an understanding of, and commitment to, equality, diversity and inclusion.
