Your Role:
We have an excellent opportunity for a Health Economics and Outcomes Research Manager to join our team in Feltham. You will be an integral part of the Market Access, Pricing and Government and Public Affairs team as well as the business unit extended team, helping build robust economic value propositions for medicines with the aim of securing patient access to innovative treatments across the UK and ROI.In this role, you will be responsible for executing HEOR strategy for products across the life cycle management, with focus on pre-launch HTA workstreams.This role involves extensive engagement with key local, regional and global colleagues as well as external stakeholders who influence market access, pricing and reimbursement on both the national and local level. This role will be hybrid working.
Who you are:
- 2+ years' experience (either pharmaceutical industry or related consultancy) in Health Economics especially HTA submissions to UK and ROI HTA agencies (NICE, SMC, NCPE)
- Master's degree in health economics or related discipline
- Experience with evidence synthesis (systematic literature review, indirect comparisons, etc.)
- Economic modelling experience (cost-effectiveness, budget impact)
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- High level of numeracy and attention to detail and capable of detailed analysis and interpretation of data
- IT literate (experience using MS Word, MS Excel and MS Powerpoint)
- Experience in generating real-world evidence is desirable
- A good understanding of the NHS including funding issues, pricing, commissioning and market access processes
