Your role

You will be carrying out the professional duties of a class teacher and, as such, will provide the provision of an appropriate learning experience for all pupils under the guidance of the Assistant Principal.

What you will offer us

As the successful applicant, you will report to the Assistant Principal.

This will be a demanding, varied and highly challenging role that will provide an excellent career opportunity for an exceptional individual.

You will be able to evidence strong behaviour management skills, foster and maintain positive relationships with students and families, be an effective teacher, demonstrate organisational skills to an exceptional level and demonstrate an understanding of possible barriers that students face and how to help them overcome these.

Please note that the Head of Year role requires the ability to teach either Science or PE (Physical Education). We kindly ask that you indicate your subject preference and your interest in the Head of Year post within your supporting statement.
