Head of Year

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Head of Year to join an experienced and enthusiastic pastoral team. The role is to become the Head of Year 8, with the plan to stay with the year group through to Year 11.

The Head of Year will provide professional leadership and management across the year group, to secure high-quality learning; effective individual support; and high standards of progress, achievement, and enjoyment.

Our Heads of Year are members of teaching staff supported by a full-time non-teaching Assistant Head of Year and an Assistant Headteacher.

You should be a specialist teacher with a good honours degree with the ability to think strategically with strong leadership and team member skills.
