Ormiston Endeavour Academy is a Secondary school located on the outskirts of Ipswich, with significant student growth over the last two academic years.

We are seeking to appoint a Head of Year to join our Support for Learning Team. The ability to offer Mathematics or English would be beneficial but not essential, we would welcome applications from teachers who would like to develop their pastoral skills and we are able to be flexible with regard to a start date.

Heads of Year lead a team of Form Tutors by supporting and developing their roles in student development, they also manage and work closely with the Assistant Heads of Year. You will work in close partnership with the Support for Learning Team to overcome any barriers that may be preventing students from achieving their full potential. We are seeking to appoint an individual who will generate a love for learning, maintaining high expectations of learning, achievement and behaviour contributing to whole school improvement, inspiring our students and making a positive contribution to our ethos and values.
