The Vacancy

Estuary Housing has an amazing opportunity for a Head of Technology and Change, reporting to the Assistant Director of Corporate Resources (operational/day-to-day management) and the Chief Financial Officer (for budgetary purposes). The postholder will liaise closely with other members of the Executive Team, work with other Heads of Service and Assistant Directors and take responsibility for the ongoing transformation and operational delivery of Estuary's Technology services.

About the job - what does it involve:
• Provide strong leadership and direction to all staff within the function.
• Effectively leading on the development and implementation of Technology and Change and other related strategies.
• Embedding a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within Estuary.
• Leading on the development and delivery of Technology related plans and projects.
• Promoting cross functional working of the Technology and Change team across the other directorates.
• Ensuring all services deliver value for money and having a proactive approach to budget management.

About you - what we're looking for:
• Educated to degree level or equivalent in business and/or management.
• Evidence of commitment to continuous personal and professional development.
• In depth understanding of ICT systems.
• Range of transformation tools and techniques.
• Experience of managing and developing a team of staff.
• Experience of managing / controlling substantial budgets.
• Developing and leading on digital and culture-based change across an organisation.
• Providing expert advice and reports to senior colleagues.

Due to the nature of the role, you must hold a full UK driving licence and will be required to travel occasionally for meetings and conferences.
