#LI-Hybrid What you'll do
You'll lead our multi-year D&T transformation programme (Evolution) and drive portfolio performance through establishing and developing strong capabilities spanning Strategic Portfolio Management Office, Change and Adoption chapter and Strategic Workforce Management. Specifically, you'll:

  • Own, develop and implement the multi-year D&T transformation programme (known as Evolution) and associated roadmap; define, lead and implement a transformation roadmap to underpin our strategic goals (financial, non-financial, customer / colleague) in partnership with the D&T senior leadership.
  • Govern and supervise the impact of the £1bn investment in technology for M&S over the next 3 years to drive strategic change and underpin over M&S goals.
  • Responsible for overall governance and performance of our transformation and change activities, with effective measurement in place for our significant financial investment and return (financials and non-financial).
  • Design and build a new Strategic Workforce Management capability to efficiently lead, govern and future proof the capabilities required to underpin the strategic outcomes for M&S across our c.3k technologists (internal and external partner). Drive strategies for re-skilling, upskilling and capacity planning (including property planning).
  • Own the Strategic Portfolio Management Office to coordinate the performance of our change and strategic projects, ensuring alignment with M&S business objectives. Establish robust coordinated planning, dependency management and set the standards for delivery governance.

Who you are

  • Inspiring leader who is passionate about creating, leading and delivering technology enabled business transformation.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence, manage and secure buy in from stakeholders up to and including Board / ExCo and across partners.
  • Expertise in technology transformation, value creation / realisation, change management and portfolio governance.
  • Track record of leading large scale, sophisticated technology transformation programmes impacting cross-functional teams spanning multiple business units, partner levels and geographies.
  • Solid understanding of SPMO / PPM methodologies, tools and standard process.
