About this job:
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced commercial candidate who has prior experience generating new revenue from existing clients and management experience. The candidate will lead a team to grow our designated Key Accounts and will combine their leadership skills and sales skills with an excellent knowledge of the T&D industry and a deep understanding of NielsenIQ products and services. You will be responsible for leading a team to align key customer priorities and insights back to NielsenIQ's capabilities, identifying & converting opportunities to deepen commercial relationships, drive additional revenue and lead a team to surpass annual targets.
The Head of T&D UK Key Accounts will be responsible for owning, alongside their team the commercial relationship with their clients, focused on accelerating organic growth whilst delivering on the revenue plans by negotiating the renewal of continuous services whilst identifying new opportunities to meet growth targets. You will develop effective relationships between individuals and teams both internally and at clients, to provide best in class NielsenIQ / client commercial partnerships.
As the Head of T&D UK Key Accounts, you will need to be able to devise a strategic approach for developing a group of clients through agile and flexible solutions that deliver value to our clients in a profitable way. We are looking for someone who is ready to drive positive change, challenge wider business process and be fully driven by achieving success with the support of the wider industry team.
You will need to engage at all levels, understand your client business strategy, objectives and growth opportunities before translating this into how NIQ services and solutions can transform their insight capabilities, inform their business objectives, mitigate risk, and gain competitive advantage...and ultimately hope them achieve their objectives.
About you:
You are a high performing commercial manager that has an interest in and understanding of the T&D sector, with experience of working alongside (or for) both T&D manufacturers and/or retailers. You are a pro-active, autonomous, commercially focused individual that works at pace to understand and implement solutions that will grow the business. You are used to working in a matrix organisation influencing teams to deliver against the business strategy and objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Leading a small team in a matrix set up to deliver on annual revenue targets
- Building a strong knowledge of client's business, trends, commercial issues and identifying opportunities
- Building and maintaining strong networking and engagement with key players in client and expanding NielsenIQ awareness with decision influencers.
- Effectively demonstrating knowledge of client and market key trends
- Communicating NielsenIQ thought leadership and innovations to decision and identified client contacts.
- Talent management of team and developing the team to exceed targets
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of delivering commercial targets and leading a team.
- Experience in scoping and developing proposals and negotiation strategies.
- Excellent awareness of market conditions and client business environment
- Effective in senior level communications, influencing & presenting.
- Mission-driven and passionate about serving a purpose.
- Willingness to travel for clients' visits and internal meetings within the whole country
