At PingPong Digital, we specialise in connecting global brands with emerging consumer markets, with a strong foundation in China and other international regions. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead our Strategy, Social Media, and Paid Media teams.
The Head of Strategy and Media will oversee the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies across various platforms. This role requires a visionary leader with a strong background in higher education marketing and extensive experience in the China market and other international markets.
Requirements
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with client goals and emerging market trends.
- Oversee the Strategy, Social Media, and Paid Media teams to ensure cohesive and effective campaign execution.
Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Coordinate cross-departmental efforts to optimise resources and achieve client objectives.
Client Ready:
- Provide strategic counsel and insights to clients based on market research and data analysis.
Market Expertise:
- Leverage in-depth knowledge of the China market and other international markets to inform strategy and campaign development.
- Stay abreast of global marketing trends, cultural nuances, and regulatory changes affecting international markets.
Performance Analysis:
- Monitor, analyse, and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
- Utilise data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve ROI for clients.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing strategy, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience working with higher education clients.
- Extensive experience in the China market and other international markets.
Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in social media platforms, paid media strategies, and digital marketing tools.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Multilingual capabilities are a plus, especially proficiency in Mandarin.
