Role Description Are you looking to lead a team of individuals to drive strategic initiatives and change management efforts and ensure that Allianz become the number one Digital Trading partner of choice for brokers and customers? The Head of Strategic Initiatives and Change will be responsible for defining and shaping our long-term growth and transformation agenda, driving innovation and continuous improvement at pace and making sure we are delivering strategic initiatives that will accelerate our profitable growth trajectory.

This role will report into the Director, Digital Trading & ALP and lead change and transformation teams prioritising and steering all change activities to ensure their timely delivery and benefits realisation.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Accountability for management and delivery of the Digital Trading change portfolio which includes business as usual, strategic and transformative change activities
  • Working with the Director of Digital Trading & ALP to define the Digital Trading strategy and ownership for the change roadmap to deliver on strategic objectives
  • Leading role in the development and delivery of large scale transformation for Digital Trading, including participation in local and global initiatives launched across Allianz
  • Optimising the value from change activity by overseeing the effective planning, prioritisation, and execution of change, and tracking this through agreed KPIs
  • Steering teams in solution development, enhancing existing solutions, and developing new ones
  • Collaborating closely with the executive and functional areas to drive key strategic projects to conclusion
  • Leading the adoption of new strategies, processes, and technologies at pace across the business and fostering a culture of readiness for change
  • Ensuring strong alignment between change delivery and sponsors, being a trusted partner and ensuring the change function is as an effective enabler to the business

About You

  • Extensive experience in strategic planning, project management, and change management within a corporate environment, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering large-scale strategic projects and change initiatives, driving sustainable business impact
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into actionable strategies and initiatives
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage and align stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Experience in developing sponsorship and support with C-Suite stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and lead teams through complex change initiatives
