The Role

We are recruiting for a Head of Social for UK & WW, to drive excellence across our social environments for our UK and WW clients and specifically Toyota/Lexus, Virgin Money, TalkTalk, Smart Energy GB and Karo. This is a pivotal role in the agency and will work closely with the Executive Director, Digital to ensure Social excellence and best practice is delivered in everything we do. They will manage members of an expanding team in London, Manchester and a nearshore hub in Athens, as well as ensuring the UK offices continue to be the centre of excellence across the global T&Pm network.

The Head of Social, UK & WW will bring knowledge and expertise to the team and wider agency, educating other departments on the value of Social, evangelising how the Social ecosystem is constantly evolving, and building & maintaining UK based partner relationships to ensure value and new opportunities are brought to clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the vision and delivery of T&Pm approach to Social, encompassing both Paid activation but also Influencers, and Content

• Senior management of the UK & Athens based social team and any embedded personnel

• Lead senior UK client conversations in Social and showcase the strength of the offering to new and existing clients, demonstrate innovation and expert opinion to assist in driving client business forward

• Maintain an excellent level of knowledge of the breadth and capability of the Social output of the agency

• Lead our Social team in terms of senior support and recommend solutions to keep our people on top of trends and developments

• Enable Social team members to collaborate effectively and share learnings and experience

• Regular visibility across the wider agency business, contributing to agency projects and other work streams

• Senior management of relevant Social partners, managing JBPs and ensure T&Pm maintains excellent relations

• Translate wider agency culture and behaviours into key work streams and ways of working for the Social team

• Engage in external industry events as well as internal education of the wider teams

• Lead on the continued development of best practice and process to the benefit of UK & WW clients

• Always be looking for new opportunities to engage new and existing clients in new opportunities across Social

• Lead on the Social elements of new business pitch work, where necessary

Skills and Experience

• Extensive experience in all forms of social media

• Experience managing growing teams and developing people's careers

• Ability to work collaboratively and bring ideas to bear that lead to success for the agency

• Able to build trusted and strong client relationships

• Able to inspire and motivate teams - on the ground and in other locations across the globe

• Work in an agile and efficient manner to ensure T&Pm is always at the forefront of the Social landscape

• Commercially minded with an ability to recognise trading requirements for the agency
