The ElmsPrimary School is in a very exciting chapter of its journey after becoming anall through primary in September 2022. We are currently a one form entryprimary school (though we have two classes in Years 1 and 5). Our school hasgreat character; we used to be a girls' grammar school, so we have a unique setof buildings and two large halls, one of which has a fantastic stage. We are aschool which really enjoys performing arts and so we make use of this wonderfulresource whenever we can!
Set inbeautiful grounds, the environment is a wonderful place to learn and teach. (Wehave recently introduced a Forest School and have enhanced our playground areato the delight of the children!) This positive atmosphere can also be felt asyou walk around our school, it resonates throughout each day and can be feltwherever you go. Our children are happy and enjoy coming to school and beingpart of The Elms family. We ensure that they experience success in a nurturingand inclusive environment. Our children are excited to learn, are kind, politeand supportive of one another.
