We have an exciting curriculum leadership opportunity for a new Head of School of Apprenticeships and Adult Learning. This curriculum area comprises a significant proportion of the College's apprenticeship and adult provision in subjects such as Leadership and Management, Accountancy, HR, Business Administration, Customer Service, Early Years Education, Teaching Assistants, Counselling, and Employability Skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for l eading and managing an outstanding learner experience in the School, ensuring all learners succeed on their programme of study and achieve their full potential. To achieve these outcomes, you would be working closely with the Head of Studies for Apprenticeships and the Head of Adult Education, whilst reporting to the Assistant Principal for Adult and Apprenticeship Programmes. Like all Heads of School, the successful candidate will also be part of the College Management Team, thereby taking a broader role in the College's management and strategic direction.

This is an ideal role for an exceptional teacher/trainer with some successful leadership and/or management experience in one or more of the subject areas in the School, and the potential to take this to the next level. You will be passionate about the transformative capacity of education in both the classroom and the workplace; be committed to ensuring that a team of teachers and trainers provide outstanding educational and personal development opportunities for the diverse range of learners our adult and apprenticeship programmes attract; be prepared to lead rigorous reviews of quality and to work with others to ensure that swift interventions are put in place when needed; and be dedicated to providing responsive and innovative provision that adapts to the ever-changing needs of employers locally, regionally and nationally.
