This is an exciting opportunity to take on the role of Head of School (Deputy Head terms and conditions) at the federation of St Edmund's and St Joseph's Catholic Primary Schools. We are looking for an experienced, practising Catholic teacher to work alongside the Executive Headteacher and Assistant Head (Curriculum and ECT Lead) as the schools join The Our Lady of Walsingham Academy Trust in September 2026.
The role is non-classed based and involves leadership across both sites with the majority based at St Edmund's. You will bring your expertise and knowledge of the primary curriculum in supporting colleagues to ensure pupils enjoy a knowledge rich learning experience which promotes inclusion, diversity and excellence. You will take on the Designated Safeguarding lead at St Edmund's.
You will be joining an established federation of two primary schools where shared planning and assessment are designed to support staff well-being. Cross federation working provides opportunities for collaboration, coaching and mentoring. There is strong professional development and well-being support for all staff.
