Head of Sales - Private Luxury Events

Chancery Lane, City of London

Reporting to: Commercial Director

Hybrid (minimum of 5 days over 2 weeks in London Office)

Role Type: Full Time, 35 hours

Salary: c.£55k plus commission

We have an opportunity for Head of Sales to join the Private Luxury Events team for Worldwide Events, the company behind m&i, Private Luxury Events, TFest and Amour.

The company is an established front-runner of the Meeting & Incentive, Luxury, and Romantic Travel sectors with events hosted in destinations such as Dubai, Ibiza, Istanbul, Seville, Oslo, The Bahamas and Mexico.

The Role

We are looking for an exceptional, highly motivated sales professional to join our Private Luxury Division. Reporting into the Commercial Director, this position will be responsible for managing the individual sales team; 4 people with revenue targets exceeding £4.8 million. You will be focused on supporting the team recruit suppliers to attend our Private Luxury Events. Beyond management, this is also a proactive commercial role with personal revenue targets.

There will be international travel to our events, attendance of industry trade shows and the possibility of occasional face-to-face sales trips as we evolve in the future.

Additionally, you will:

  • Manage all forecasting and reporting for the sales team
  • Report into the Commercial Director on analysis of their markets including Europe, Americas, South America, Asia Pacific, Africa and the Middle East
  • Run all team 1:1 meetings and weekly sales meeting
  • Manage the report and commission structure into the Commercial Director
  • Manage all KPI's and sales targets for the team
  • Head up sponsorship opportunities for nontraditional exhibitors at our events and growing that revenue stream
  • Manage all administrative responsibilities for the team

Due to the nature of the events industry, you may occasionally be required to work outside of hours to meet deadlines.

About you

To be considered as Head of Sales, you will need:

  • Proven management experience of 2+ years in running a sales team
  • Proven sales experience of 5+ years within the B2B travel industry
  • Strategic thinker and team player
  • Proven experience in managing large scale partnerships
  • Exceptional organisation
  • Experience in using Salesforce CRM system
  • A passion for travel
