Brave Bison Media Network
In a world where viewing habits, platforms and algorithms evolve daily, it's not enough to be present on just one platform or serve the same content across your channel ecosystem. When it comes to capturing hearts and eyeballs, constant evolution and optimisation is key. Crowd-pleasers and proud of it, we specialise in channel management and consultancy for clients includingthe PGA TOUR, DP World Tour, Ryder Cup, US Open, Australian Open, Laver Cup and WEC.
With extensive experience growing loyal fanbases on social and sky-rocketing YouTube views into the billions, we also own, manage and produce content for some of the biggest entertainment channels on Snap, Meta and TikTokwith huge, loyal and constantly growing communities of followers.
Role & responsibilities:
Brave Bison are looking for a Channel Manager within our Media team, to work across the accounts of some of the biggest governing bodies and rights holders in sport. The day-to-day role will include managing digital media accounts of our clients, with an emphasis on YouTube, Facebook and TikTok.
All applicants should be able to showdemonstrable experience in online video and social media.
- Content Strategy: Understanding what content is needed for the different audiences for each account on each platform. Providing critical feedback to the licencing, production and editing teams to ensure we are always striving for excellence in our published content. This also includes content scheduling and overseeing the editors' schedules.
- Audience Development: Utilising all best practice audience development and channel management techniques to maximise the performance of our published content.
- Analytics & Reporting: Drafting internal and external reports filled with actionable insights based on data. Being able to confidently feedback these insights to our clients clearly and concisely.
- Content Creation: Creating exciting assets and thumbnails, following platform-specific best practices.
Qualification & skills requirements
- 2 years minimum relevant work experience.
- Experience in optimising and publishing content.
- Experience in using analytics tools (on platform and/or 3rd party) to review content performance.
- Experience creating assets, thumbnails and social content using Adobe Photoshop, Premiere.
- Keen analytical mind that can turn data into insights.
- Clear and confident communicator.
- Ability to produce high quality reports.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, rapidly evolving business.
- Fantastic interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a team.
- Being a sports fan with a keen interest in a range of sports is essential.
