What will you do on your journey with WebBeds?

WebBeds is the world's fastest growing provider of accommodation distribution services to the travel industry. Our products incorporate distribution APIs, payment integrations, ERP integration, Data Lakes, User Interfaces, and others. Our search API reach peaks of more than 50.000 requests per second, each one consisting of tens or hundreds of hotels, with continued expansion.

In this role you will:

In collaboration with senior leadership, this role is responsible for developing and implementing a pricing strategy for the European market to maximize company revenue and profit margins. This involves working closely with yield, revenue, and key accounts teams to optimize pricing at the customer, market, and product levels. By analyzing competitive and internal data, the role identifies market opportunities and threats, adjusting pricing strategies as needed to drive sales and profitability.

Additionally, this role conducts daily analyses of search trends by client and city, taking targeted actions to boost margins and sales. Regular monitoring and reporting on the impact of pricing changes ensure alignment with company margin goals, while any issues affecting sales, such as low conversion rates or product availability, are flagged for proactive resolution. The role also includes tracking competitor trends and compiling key data to refine product and pricing strategies for optimal sales performance.

Key elements to this role include, but not limited to:

  • Undertake daily analysis of search trends at both client and city level, taking appropriate, targeted and effective action to maximize margins and sales where possible
  • Monitor the effects of pricing strategy changes reporting on pre and post sales/margin figures
  • Deliver on company aims in relation to percentage and actual margins
  • Highlight relevant departmental issues which could affect sales including but not limited to availability and low conversion statistics, ensuring that action is taken to improve future revenue
  • Build and Implement pricing strategy for European market in collaboration with SVP Sales & SVP Global Commercial Planning.
  • Communicate notable competitor trends to management
  • Analyze data to understand the effectiveness of products, prices and sales channels
  • Managing 1 team member.

The skills we would love to see in your suitcase!

  • Educated to degree level, preferably in a numerate or business related discipline desirable.
  • Hotel, B2B, B2C Travel Industry experience in similar role .
  • Numerate and analytical. Enjoys spreadsheet analysis, drawing conclusions from data, writing reports and making recommendations to the business
  • Able to make decisions understanding financial implications and willing to take calculated risks
  • Confident and assertive but able to communicate decisions diplomatically
  • Enjoys strategizing own actions, tracking results and responding accordingly
  • Self-motivated, able to see opportunities for development / improvement and take these forward
  • Highly accurate with an excellent attention to detail
  • Understanding of Revenue Management and Pricing principles and practice
  • Good general experience and understanding of the mechanics of commercial organizations
  • Pragmatist who is able to utilize existing resources to good effect.
  • Effective team player who can work successfully with a wide range of stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Experienced in the use of BI ,Microsoft Excel and Word with a high level of computer competence.
