About this Role

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Head of Religious Studies (RS)who is enthusiastic, conscientious and self-motivated. Religious Studies is a core GCSE subject at Holmer Green and is a very popular A level subject. We are looking for an excellent teacher who is ambitious for all our students, is passionate about ReligiousStudies and who would welcome the chance to flourish in a dynamic area.

This is an exciting and unique opportunity for a high performing RSteacher to take a step into the role of Head of Department and lead on subjectinitiatives. The successful candidate will have a strong track record insupporting and challenging colleagues through line management, performancemanagement, mentoring and coaching, along with the ability to build effectiveworking relationships with colleagues and staff. They will have extensiveproven teaching experience and a track record of leading pupils to achieveexceptional results.
