Head of Property Management

Are you an experienced Property Manager with a passion for team leadership and people management? We're looking for a dynamic individual to join our team, taking a pivotal role in shaping the success of our Property Management department. You'll act as an ambassador for the company, ensuring exceptional service standards and driving growth within our lettings portfolios to meet our strategy to double the management portfolio over the next 6 years.

Salary: £50,000-£60,000 subject to experience
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm

Locations: North London

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the Property Management team to ensure high performance, excellent service, and team cohesion.
• Portfolio Oversight: Ensure all managed properties are legal, safe, and ready for occupation, with a focus on compliance and quality standards.
• Customer Excellence: Deliver a five-star service to landlords and tenants throughout the tenancy lifecycle, enhancing retention and portfolio growth.
• Pre-Tenancy Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections to ensure properties are in top condition prior to occupation.
• Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with landlords and tenants, identifying new business opportunities.
• Efficient Issue Resolution: Address maintenance, legal, and tenant-related issues swiftly and professionally.
• Refurbishment Advocacy: Promote our refurbishments team to improve the quality of our portfolio.
• Compliance: Stay up to date with property management legislation and ensure compliance across the portfolio.
• Team Collaboration: Attend regular team meetings to ensure alignment and effective communication across Lettings teams.

Requirements & Skills:

• Proven leadership skills with a track record of managing and motivating a team.
• Strong communicator with excellent customer service and negotiating abilities.
• Previous property management experience is essential.
• Ability to manage high-pressure situations and troubleshoot effectively.
• Attention to detail, persistence, and a team-oriented mindset.
