ROLE: Head of Projects & Change

HOURS: 40 per Week - Permanent Role

SALARY: c£90,000+, plus exceptional bonus and benefits package (Negotiable)

We are delighted to be developing our Project and Change Management capability, and seek a dynamic Head of Projects and Change to lead, manage, direct and define the implementation and control of all Change and Project initiatives within the Eurocell Plc Group, and define and embed a companywide approach to Project Management and governance. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and management of all PMO resource, leading, allocating and directing all Project and Programme Management activity, standards, processes, and governance, and personal management of any complex, high-risk and business critical project or programmes, and accountable for the delivery of our Target Operating Model.

WHAT OUR HEAD OF PROJECTS AND CHANGE WILL DO:

  • Lead the design and implementation of project management processes, governance, methods, tools, guidelines and standards
  • Define and embed a companywide approach to Project Management and governance
  • Establish a framework that supports all project teams and stakeholders
  • Define, manage, and direct end-to-end Project work effort; leveraging best practices and techniques in identifying, quantifying and tracking the realisation of expected benefits
  • Accountable for the consistency of operating methodology and associated processes
  • Assess enterprise or portfolio performance, using metrics and reporting
  • Support the organisation's progression towards a value based operating model
  • Ensure strategic alignment through prioritisation, resource capacity management, key result tracking and program management to achieve our strategic vision
  • Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to Project function colleagues and leadership as needed
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior leadership and key business stakeholders
  • Lead the establishment of a project management community within the business to facilitate collaboration and best-practice sharing
  • Instill a learning culture to continuously inspect and adapt methodologies and approaches to projects & change delivery
  • Ensure alignment of cross-functional roadmaps, create a collective plan to manage dependencies

WHAT WE NEED FROM OUR HEAD OF PROJECTS AND CHANGE :

  • Previous experience of delivery of a Target Operating Model
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to develop and communicate the strategic vision and inspire and motivate colleagues
  • Extensive strategic project / programme management skills and experience
  • Effective stakeholder management, influencing and negotiation skills
  • Excellent analytical, strategic conceptual thinking, strategic planning and execution skills.
  • Deep understanding of current and emerging technologies and their applications
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a strategic resource plan.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain IT concepts and technologies to business leaders, and business concepts to the Project function colleagues
  • Experience of building and developing a stable PMO framework and function
