Head of Product Specialists

Fitch Solutions is currently seeking a global Head of Product Specialists based out of our London or NY office locations.

The Head of Product Specialists is a critical role within the commercial organization at Fitch Solutions, requiring extensive data knowledge and technical expertise. This role involves leading a team of product experts focused on Datafeed, API, and Excel Add-In delivery channels, ensuring a seamless pre-sales and post-sales client experience.

You will define the strategy for stakeholder engagement, partner with organizational leaders to ensure exceptional client experiences, and contribute to revenue growth by bringing customer insights into the organization. Your responsibilities include delivering business results, fostering collaboration, and sharing knowledge across all levels. You should be adept at coaching and developing team members to achieve their best.

We'll Count on You To:

• Lead and manage a global team of Product Specialists, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to drive professional growth and technical expertise.
• Collaborate closely with sales, product management, and engineering teams to understand client needs, develop solutions, and drive successful data sales engagements.
• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of technical solutions that meet client requirements and align with our strategic goals.
• Ensure the team effectively communicates complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, facilitating smooth sales processes and client onboarding.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, acting as a trusted advisor and technical resource.
• Continuously monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge and competitive.

• Establish and enforce best practices, standards, and processes for product specialist roles and data integration.
• Manage resource allocation, project timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
• Support revenue generation, retention and growth.
• Track team performance against specific business/customer value KPIs
• Gather and report customer insights to inform product development and improve customer experience.

What You Need to Have:

• In-depth knowledge of financial data products, data integration and data sales processes
• Experience managing client-facing teams in product/content integration
• Hands-on experience with Excel Add-ins, Feeds, and API
• In-depth knowledge of financial market data
• Proven track record of delivering results while managing multiple priorities

• Experience with cloud platforms (eg AWS, Azure, Google, Cloud) and data analytics tools
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance in financial services industry
• Professional certifications in product specialization or related disciplines
