Job Description

We are looking for a Head of Design. Reporting into the Chief Product Officer, you will manage UX from concept to delivery, supporting and linking Brand and Marketing to Technology. You will oversee the delivery of customer experience excellence in creating clearer user journeys and the design assets that sit behind them from concept to Tech readiness. You will also lead a growing team of UX specialists that aim to design and implement simple, clear and optimised journeys and creative assets that reduce time to value for customer

Responsibilities:

• Team leadership: Build, and manage a team of designers, promoting a collaborative environment. Conduct regular performance reviews, set clear goals, and provide professional development opportunities.
• Develop and implement design strategies that align with our goals and customer needs
• Deliver customer journey designs and screens, helping customers realise value faster including graphics, copy and notifications and event driven engagement for primary products and new propositions.
• Maintenance and evolution of a centralised design system that increasing reduces design effort and technical deployment cycles across all channels.
• Always promote better user experience on App/mobile and web.
• Collaborate with engineers, including on the front end, to ensure the feasibility and implementation of design solutions.

Qualifications

• Wealth of experience designing software products.
• Experience in line managing and coaching designers.
• Experience App consumer-facing industries.
• Proficiency in creating prototypes in Figma, both high and low fidelity.
• Experience in user experience design and user interface design using modern design tools.
