We have an opportunity for a Head of Procurement (Scotland) to join our business at this exciting time, as we continue to scale.
As Head of Procurement - Scotland at ENODA, you will be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies that ensure cost efficiency, supplier reliability, and compliance with industry regulations.
This role involves managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, mitigating risks, and driving sustainability initiatives, whilst providing leadership to the existing procurement team.
With a focus on cost control, operational excellence, and innovation, you will play a key role in maintaining a resilient and ethical supply chain that supports project success and long-term business growth.

You'll spend your time:
- Defining and implementing a procurement strategy aligned with business objectives, whilst ensuring cost efficiency, risk mitigation, and supply chain resilience
- Negotiating contracts to secure the best value in terms of cost, quality, and reliability
- Identifying cost-saving opportunities, monitoring procurement spend and optimise purchasing processes
- Ensuring compliance with UK procurement regulations, ISO standards, and ethical sourcing policies
- Managing risks related to supply chain disruptions, geopolitical factors, and contract liabilities
- Implementing sustainable procurement practices in line with Environmental, Social and Governance requirements
- Overseeing contract lifecycle management, ensuring supplier KPIs and SLAs are met
- Continuously evaluating and improving supplier performance
- Working closely with engineering, finance, legal, and operations teams to align procurement with project needs
- Leading and developing the procurement team, fostering a high-performance culture
The key experience we're looking for:
- Expertise in supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, and long-term relationship management
- Ability to drive value creation through strategic partnerships and cost optimisation
- In-depth knowledge of UK procurement laws, contract terms, and industry-specific regulations (e.g., ISO, ESG, anti-bribery laws).
- Experience in managing supplier agreements, mitigating risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance
- Strong leadership and team management skills to drive procurement excellence
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, finance, legal) and influence key stakeholders
- Proficiency in using ERP systems
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to navigate complex procurement challenges
- Ability to make data-driven decisions under pressure, ensuring supply chain resilience and business continuity
The following would be advantageous:
- Experience leveraging AI-driven analytics and driving digital innovation would be highly advantageous.
