About the role

As Head of our Private Capital and Asset Management business, you'll spearhead our work with institutional investors, including asset management, private equity, and capital markets clients. You'll develop sector strategies, build trusted relationships with C-suite clients, and consolidate Faculty's reputation as the partner of choice for Applied AI in this sector.

What you'll be doing:

• Driving revenue growth by acquiring and effectively serving institutional investor and investment banking clients, meeting or exceeding commercial targets
• Developing and implementing the strategic plan for expanding our business within the investment industry, aligning with the Financial Services unit's vision
• Enhancing our client value proposition by creating insightful approaches to due diligence and related AI-powered activities for public and private markets.
• Designing and executing a strategic account plan to expand AI software solutions adoption within investment firms and their portfolio companies
• Enabling the successful delivery of high-quality outcomes for investment industry clients through effective program oversight and structured, repeatable approaches
• Fostering strong, long-term relationships with C-suite stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner.
• Building our profile in the investment management industry through speaking engagements and the publication of original, creative thought leadership

Who we're looking for:

• You bring an intimate understanding of the institutional investment landscape and strong personal connections gained through prior roles in asset management, private equity, or capital markets
• You are skilled at valuation, capable of quantifying value from AI software and data sources, ideally underpinned by relevant qualifications such as the CFA
• You are a rapid researcher and learner, adept at swiftly absorbing and discussing new technologies and conveying their relevance to senior executives in capital market and private capital firms
• You possess proven commercial acumen, with a clear track record of achieving sales and revenue targets within, or to, financial services firms
• You demonstrate delivery excellence, with a history of successfully overseeing complex projects, preferably including technical due diligences or AI transformation programs
• You are a compelling communicator, skilled at crafting clear, concise, and impactful presentations that resonate with executive audiences in the financial sector.
