Head of Print Delivery

As Head of Print Delivery for the Waitrose account at ITG, you will play a critical role in overseeing and governing the ways of working within the print workstream, driving operational transformation, efficiency, RFT improvement and continuous optimisation.

You will be responsible for setting strategic direction, implementing best practices, and ensuring seamless coordination across various teams to consistently enhance the quality and effectiveness of print delivery processes. Your leadership will be pivotal in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, enabling the team to not only meet but exceed client expectations in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

This position involves working closely with POS Leads, project managers and production managers, as well as the operations director and client to ensure that all print content is delivered on time, within budget, and meets the highest standards of quality. You will act as the key liaison, facilitating clear and proactive communication among stakeholders to anticipate and resolve challenges promptly. By leveraging your strong organisational skills and in-depth understanding of print production workflows, you will drive project success from conception through to final delivery, ensuring alignment with both internal goals and client objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manages POS Leads and Artworking Production Manager, taking ownership of POS workstream
  • Ensures briefs are project managed effectively and delivered to quality and on time
  • Governs, manages and oversees delivery across POS workstream
  • Works closely with client on planning and forecasting upcoming projects
  • Responsible operational reporting and data capture within workstream
  • Full top-level oversight of all briefs within area; oversees briefs within respective teams
  • Oversees print management within POS team, acts as senior support
  • Manages escalations and top-level project comms with client
  • Works with Ops Director and SLT at ITG to improve process and efficiencies
  • Continually seeking process improvements; drives operational efficiencies
  • Supports team in managing day to day - all briefs delivered on time and on budget
  • Supports POS Lead to manage recruitment, holiday/sickness cover
  • Responsible for any required recruitment within the team

Requirements

  • 5+ years Production Agency Experience
  • Strong understanding of POS Production and Print Management
  • A friendly, positive team player
