Head of Portfolio Roadmap and Demand Management

This job is brought to you by Jobs/Redefined, the UK's leading over-50s age inclusive jobs board.

Join our journey to create a new experience for the National Lottery and help us to power change for the greater good.

ABOUT US:

We are Allwyn UK, part of the Allwyn Entertainment Group - a multi-national lottery operator with a market-leading presence in Austria, the Czech Republic, Greece, Cyprus and Italy. We have been officially awarded the Fourth Licence (10 year licence) to operate the National Lottery starting February 2024.

We've developed ground-breaking technologies, built player protection frameworks, and have a proven track record of making lotteries better. Our aim is to create one of the UK's most inclusive organisations - where people can bring the best of themselves, to do their best work, every day, for the benefit of good causes.

Allwyn is an Equal Opportunity Employer which prides itself in being diverse and inclusive. We do not tolerate discrimination, harassment, or victimisation in the workplace. All employment decisions at Allwyn are based on the business needs, the job requirements, and the individual qualifications. Allwyn encourages applications from individuals regardless of age, disability (visible or hidden), sex, gender reassignment, sexual orientation, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief and marriage and civil partnerships.

While the main contribution of the National Lottery to society is through the funds to good causes, at Allwyn we put our purpose and values at the heart of everything we do. Join us as we embark on a once-in-a-lifetime, largescale transformation journey to build a bigger, better, and safer National Lottery that delivers more money to good causes.

ROLE PURPOSE:

This is a strategic role, where you will be responsible for defining, prioritizing and managing the enterprise-wide portfolio roadmap in a way which ensures alignment with the company strategy and business plans.

Initiatives on the roadmap could include commercially focused projects such as the launch of new Lottery games / products, updates to existing products or improvements in our underlying commercial capabilities and internal projects aimed at improving operational efficiency and effectiveness or improving people employee experience

Your objective will be to ensure that initiatives are evaluated, prioritised and scheduled in a way which maximises value, balances resources and maintains a clear focus on strategic priorities. In addition, you will need to ensure that there are longer term views of the strategic roadmap, which provide line of sight to our medium and long-term strategic goals and allow forward planning in relation to resources, suppliers and business capabilities. In achieving this objective, you will need to work closely and effectively with senior stakeholders across the business including product and marketing, operations, technology, finance, regulatory and people functions.

The successful candidate will be joining a new team in Allwyn. While there are some existing processes and approaches in place, they need a significant review and update to reflect the demands, priorities and environment of our current business strategy. The post-holder will therefore need to have the skills and experience needed to design, implement and embed a new approach and way of working and to be able to do this at pace and in a manner which will enable this new Function to rapidly demonstrate value.

• Stakeholders (including the Executive team) have confidence in the prioritisation process based on its quality, transparency and the way in which the roadmap is communicated
