The Role

We are looking for a Head of Performance to join our growing team. You will be a key member of the team working directly with the Senior Leadership Team, taking ownership Performance Marketing activity to support online growth, customer insight, customer retention and rapid global expansion.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all performance marketing including, but not limited to PPC (Google, Microsoft), SEO, Display, Paid Social, SEO & CRM.
  • Act as the central point of contact for the performance marketing strategy and results across the organisation both domestically and internationally.
  • Responsible for all reporting around performance, explaining key marketing metrics to stakeholders and comfortable doing deep analysis into the numbers.
  • Driving the identification and testing of new areas of opportunity including new channels, targeting, bidding strategies and data usage.
  • Develop a high-performance culture in the performance marketing team, developing rhythms and processes that ensure operational rigour and continuous experimentation at pace.
  • Understanding, articulating to stakeholders and implementing tools and data to deliver targeted and effective marketing.
  • Part with brand, product, analyst and trading teams to develop a core audience strategy, exploring/executing plans that improve acquisition through the use of 1st party data and audience insights.
  • Manage our relationships with partners, such as Google and Microsoft, setting our agenda and leveraging joint business plans to full effect.

  • Budgetary management.
  • Achieving outset KPI targets including:
    • Customer recruitment (new & returning)
    • ROI
    • Revenue

Skills

  • Experience in managing and growing an in-house performance marketing team in a high volume B2C business
  • Experience in delivering performance marketing within international markets
  • Beauty enthusiast
  • Advanced analytical skills
  • Minimum 3 years in similar position.
  • Demonstrated history of data-enabled decision making and prioritisation
  • Able to drive initiatives through and resolve obstacles/blockers effectively
  • Positive in nature, able to both develop and get the best out of those around them
  • Strategy and planning, with the ability to demonstrate intelligent and outside the box approaches to previous client needs
  • Highly organised, analytical, and comfortable presenting at all levels
  • Ability to think both creatively and commercially
