What you'll do

Your key accountabilities will include:

  • Drive the business strategy & deliver results as part of the business area leadership team
  • Lead the People agenda, ensuring a focus on creating commercial and shareholder value - a strategic partner to business leaders, engaging & deploying people initiatives & products within the business area
  • Lead and influence the development of the M&S People Plan, ensuring commercial, colleague and external trends are represented
  • Establish channels to understand colleague & BIG sentiment and proactively seek feedback - providing insight to inform change
  • Partner, coach and challenge leaders and the organisation to make the best decisions
  • Champion and lead on inclusion and diversity
