About the role

  • Manage Payroll Operations: Oversee payroll for 700+ UK employees and 7 international payrolls (including China, India, UAE, Ireland & Turkey).
  • Ensure Compliance & Accuracy: Handle all payroll submissions and reporting to HMRC, tax professionals, and auditors.
  • Strategic Improvements: Enhance payroll processes, integrate HRIS systems, improve transactional reporting, and support payroll system operations.
  • Employee Benefits: Collaborate with HR to research, cost, and deliver market-leading benefits for Kiwa employees.
  • Financial & Forecasting Support: Provide key payroll data to assist with monthly, quarterly, and long-term forecasting.
  • Leadership & Development: Support and lead the Payroll Team, ensuring regular 1-2-1s and professional development.
  • Annual Projects: Lead bonus, LTIP, living wage, PSA, and company car exercises.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Proven expertise in global payroll management.
  • Experience leading strategic payroll initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of financial principles & ERP systems.
  • CIPP qualification (preferred).
  • A continuous improvement mindset and a passion for innovation.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

What can you expect from us in return?

  • £55,000 - £65,000 per annum

  • 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday, UK remote role with occassional travel
