Job Introduction

As Head of Partnerships you will be responsible for the strategic delivery of our Brand Partnerships programme. Working with your team and through collaboration with wider business stakeholders, you will develop productive relationships with brands (endemic and non-endemic) to lead the partnerships revenue programme through a customer lens, and supported by the wider organic marketing mix. You will identify opportunities that amplify our own core brand messaging, through engaging collaborative brand partner moments and activations across our stores and digital platforms. You'll manage the Brand Partnerships P&L and deliver against our Customer 121 strategy to identify 1 million more known customers that make 2 more visits per year and 1 more sustainable choice.

As Head of Partnerships you will:
• Lead marketing relationships and communication with brand partners, staying closely aligned to wider commercial relationships owned by the Buying team, and working with the team to deliver brand partner activations, real estate and marketing support plans.
• Develop new brand partner strategies with a focus on non-endemic opportunities in the wider luxury sector, identifying new partnership opportunities, as well as manage existing partner and sponsor relationships
• Own the business strategy for brand partnership revenue by driving the sales pipeline through meaningful brand partner moments.
• Plan and align marketing activity for our brand partners to the Selfridges Master Calendar and integrated marketing plan, to ensure a cohesive customer message that elevates the Selfridges brand, and ensure smooth execution of the activity.
• Work with internal stakeholders to develop engaging cross channel marketing and partnership activations across in store, online and across the full marketing channel mix
• Plan and execute key partnership campaigns targeting new customer acquisition, increased frequency of visit and purchase, setting and communicating clear budgets, objectives, targets and measures of success
• Work with Finance partners to ensure budget is maximised and efficient. Provide regular forecasting and reforecasting as needed
• Work with relevant teams to ensure content reinforces the Selfridges brand messaging, to build brand equity, drawing on our core values and positioning Selfridges as a creative playground, place for friends and extraordinary experience with a vision to reinvent retail
• Update the wider business on performance and planning for partnership campaigns and activations
• Lead, inspire and develop the wider Partnership Teams, encouraging and modelling powerful collaboration across the business

How you'll be doing it- you'll be:
• Ideally from a luxury background, strong in sales and strategic marketing skills with experience working with brands within the premium/luxury sector
• Experienced in successfully delivering a Multi-Million pound target, whilst also being mindful of the wider commercial landscape within a business and able to balance the value of organic vs paid opportunities at the right time
• Quickly understand the Selfridges brand to be able to prioritise its equity through all partnerships and intuitively understand the right brand mix for potential opportunities
• Have a creative flair to be able to put together engaging marketing activations with proven results and premium marketing packages for partners
• Have a collaborative mindset, and experienced in working across broad cross-functional stakeholder groups to turn strategy into actionable plans
• Expert in the full marketing mix with strong in execution and delivery orientation - able to plan, manage and adapt multiple projects at the same time.
• Experienced in measuring delivery of marketing plans against customer KPIs.
• Excellent in numeracy and analytical skills and ability to synthesize large amounts of data and information into concise recommendations and action for the company.
• Collaborative, open and transparent - able to navigate the organisation and to be comfortable with ambiguity.
• Experienced in building and managing a high performing team
