As our Head of Origination, we are looking for someone to:
- Generate new business enquiries in line with company strategy and risk appetite
- Undertake first line assessment and structuring of new transactions, working with Underwriters and Head of Development Funding to ensure delivery of positive outcomes
- Work with the wider team to proactively manage pipeline business and the due diligence process, to allow timely completions to meet customer expectations and deliver budgets
- Work with the Relationship Managers to enhance existing Borrower relationships with a desire to procure repeat business
- Undertake client meetings and/or site visits as deemed appropriate to support our due diligence process on new (or existing) transactions (where applicable)
- Build, manage and maintain relationships with clients, brokers, internal sales & support functions and professional partners
- Support the Head of Development Funding, Development Funding colleagues & Commercial Finance Exec with pro-active input on the strategic direction/planning of the department, including product/proposition offering, process improvement & efficiency, funding line opportunities and budgeting
Qualifications
Essential
- Experience in a new business sales role within Development Funding
- Established network of brokers/introducers/developers
- Strong market/competitor awareness
- Ability to assess and structure a development funding proposal
- Be able to demonstrate strong Balanced Commerciality
- Full driving licence
