Salary: c£75k + £6K Car Allowance + Bonus
Location: East Midlands Gateway and Kings Norton
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:00
We have an excellent opportunity for a Head of Operations to report to the Industry Director of Healthcare and will sit on the Leadership Team.
The Head of Operations is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring that the business runs efficiently and effectively. This role involves strategic planning, managing operational processes, and leading a team to achieve organisational goals.
Your tasks
Within the role, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing leadership to deliver operational results that support the business goals
- Support in shaping the operational strategy to achieve customer success
- Identify and drive improvements and efficiencies across operations
- Identify opportunities to enable growth across our customer portfolio by working alongside our Key Account Management teams
- Headcount and Capacity planning to achieve maximum productivity and meet SLAs
- Cost management and resource utilisation, including peak planning and new customer implementations.
- Ensuring site compliance with all Security, H&S, and HR policy and procedures
- Minimising customer complaints and ensuring all corrective actions are completed
- Analysing and managing the P&L and pricing activities to ensure overall profitability, leading and preparing regular reports and business reviews with clients to discuss operational activities, establish work standards and processes, and analyse KPI, SLA, and Quality metrics.
Your profile
You will extensive experience in working within an operations environment within the Healthcare sector working across multiple sites with a multiple customer base.
Ideally, you will have experience within 3PL, 4PL, or freight forwarding with an understanding of cross-functional business processes, proven operational leadership skills, and comfortable in managing a diverse team.
Safety will be at the forefront of your mind, with a strong understanding of operational processes and capabilities, business process standardisation, and enabling technologies.
You will be a strong, concise communicator and be able to build internal and external relationships with stakeholders and customers. You will be a logical thinker with strong analytical skills that will enable you to feel confident in making decisions and be able to influence and lead the team.
