As the Head of Operational Planning, you'll work cross divisionally to drive collaboration, alignment, and stakeholder coordination, playing a pivotal role in shaping operational strategies and establishing credibility. Day to day, this is some of what you can expect to be doing:

  • Leading the design and implementation of the divisional Target Operating Model and organisational design structure
  • Workforce Planning - Managing resource capacity planning for both our internal and Supply Chain resources
  • Leading the operational implementation of business improvement projects
  • Addressing changes, completing impact assessments, and implementing changes to existing operation and build plans
  • Leading on people and supplier engagement and communications

What you'll bring to the role

You'll have extensive experience in successfully leading efficiency and/or service improvement programmes in large complex organisations, as well as a track record of delivering tangible efficiency improvements through people, process, and systems. You'll also bring the following with you:

  • Experience leading operational redesign and implementation programmes
  • Change management experience
  • Strong ability to question and challenge assumptions
  • Capacity to drive initiatives forward effectively
  • A relevant qualification, e.g., ITIL, PRINCE2, CIPS, MSP, Six Sigma, Agile Fundamentals

We're looking for people who don't settle for 'good enough' and push things forward. If you've just found yourself thinking, 'I'd love to do this', we want to hear from you. Let's change it up.
