We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Locker Network Deployment to lead the national design, roll-out and continuous improvement of the Royal Mail locker network. This senior leadership role is central to shaping out-of-home capability, driving performance, and ensuring our locker estate remains competitive, reliable and fit for the future.

About the role

• Own and deliver the national locker deployment strategy aligned to the Out of Home vision and KPIs.
• Lead end-to-end deployment activity, including standards, performance, innovation and continuous improvement.
• Define operating models, organisation structures and capability plans for current and future growth.
• Engage and influence senior internal and external stakeholders, including Trade Unions and partners.
• Drive proactive and reactive deployment programmes across a large, geographically dispersed network.
• Establish strong governance, deployment reviews and risk controls across the project lifecycle.
• Build a high-performing culture focused on safety, efficiency, quality and customer outcomes.

About you
• Proven senior leadership experience in large-scale deployment, engineering or infrastructure programmes.
• Strong track record of leading geographically dispersed teams and managing contractor and supplier models.
• Demonstrated ability to shape strategy and translate it into executable delivery plans.
• Experienced operating at senior level within a unionised or complex stakeholder environment.
• Commercially astute with experience managing complex budgets and competing priorities.
• Credible, influential communicator able to engage at all levels of the organisation.
• Passionate about continuous improvement, innovation and operational excellence.
