As our next Head of Marketplace Matching, you'll lead the brainpower behind how our jobs and trades connect, and how we scale that match in a smart, sustainable way. From forecasting supply and demand to optimising our ML-powered matching engine, you'll be at the heart of how our marketplace works and where it goes next.

This is a big-impact role with high visibility. You'll lead a team of analysts and data scientists, shape our AI and ML strategy, and help drive better fulfilment, stronger growth and smarter monetisation across the platform.

Forget long lists, here's what you'll actually spend your time on:

• Defining and evolving our Marketplace Health Framework, setting the metrics that matter and making them actionable.
• Forecasting supply and demand mismatches, and turning those insights into prioritised actions for Growth, Product and GTM teams.
• Leading continuous improvement of our matching logic and ML models, from recommendations to fulfilment reliability.
• Owning the AI roadmap for our marketplace, building the future of autonomous, adaptive matching.
• Partnering with Commercial on pricing and incentive strategy, driving ROI across trade and platform.
• Leading a high-performing team, setting standards for experimentation, modelling and insight delivery.

• Experience leading analytics in a two-sided marketplace or scaled platform environment.
• Proven track record delivering production-grade ML models and shaping AI strategy at the company level.
• Strong forecasting, experimentation and statistical modelling expertise.
• Great leadership skills - you know how to support, challenge and grow a data team.
• A commercial mindset - you link AI, data and ROI like it's second nature.
• Confidence aligning cross-functional teams - getting people behind the plan with clarity and purpose.
