A dynamic and ambitious marketing professional is needed to join our Marketing, Communications and Business Development (MCBD) team as Head of Marketing Operations. The experienced individual will act as a key member of the team working closely with Divisional Boards and senior members of the marketing team to drive the development of the firm's digital platforms and marketing technology systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for transforming our CRM system 'Connect' (Microsoft Dynamics) from a database largely used to nurture contacts for digital campaigns to a fully integrated contact management and pipeline system.

Our 25 strong Marketing, Communications and BD (MCBD) team provides national and local MCBD support to Carter Jonas - one of the most well-regarded names in the property business. The team is mainly based in the firm's head office in London at the top of New Bond Street at One Chapel Place. Main tasks:

  • Web project management - Hands-on project management for the delivery of a significant website improvement project, including product development, user experience (UX) design oversight, content migration and site architecture creation.
  • CRM Roadmap - Project management of the transformation in the adoption of Connect into a fully integrated CRM system.
  • Strategy execution - Creating, developing and executing a strategy across all digital channels, to include: CPC (cost per click), social (organic and paid), email, SEO (Search Engine Optimisation), website, CRM, and LiveChat.
  • Digital content - Overseeing digital content delivery, and ensuring all templates and content output are representative of the Carter Jonas brand and values.
  • Team management - Leading, managing and motivating a small but high performing CRM and digital team. Representing the team on all project updates related to CRM and digital to the Management and Divisional Boards.
  • Budgeting - Budget planning, management and forecasting of all digital budget lines.
  • Supplier management - Management of multiple agencies for campaign delivery, data-gathering and digital product development. Leading on contract negotiation and renewals, statement of work (SOW) reviews and performance management.
  • Process improvement - Analysing and reviewing existing processes in marketing operations, identifying gaps or efficiencies and implement improvements.
  • Governance - Working closely with the IT team to ensure systems, architecture and processes adhere to strict security regulations and remain compliant.
  • Integrations - Management of multiple complex integrations between Connect and marketing platforms to ensure efficient and effective use of contact data. Creating, maintaining, and optimising complex marketing automations targeting the whole customer/client lifecycle.

What will it take to be successful?

You will be a self-starter, with a wealth of marketing experience ideally within a professional services environment. You will have a strong track record in leading marketing technology projects and strategic initiatives. You will have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics with the ability to troubleshoot with CRM, portals and websites. as well as understand social media channels and content. It is key that this individual can multitask and oversee complex projects, be able to manage key stakeholder relationships both internally and externally as well as be creative in their approach to tasks. Finally, as a growing and ambitious team, the Head of Marketing Operations will be a team player, providing support across all levels within the team.
