Role Overview

We are seeking a Head of Marketing to take full ownership of the marketing function at Dover Street Market. This role is pivotal in driving a culture where our client is at the heart of every decision, blending creativity with customer insights to deliver exceptional

experiences.

The successful candidate will oversee communications, client marketing, CRM, and content initiatives for Dover Street Market London, as well as lead marketing initiatives across global DSM's. Additionally, they will manage a Client Lead, ensuring alignment across the business for our client and enabling their success in expanding the client journey.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Strategy

  • Take overall ownership of the marketing function at Dover Street Market, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic vision and brand identity.
  • Lead and inspire a high-performing marketing team, fostering a creative, collaborative environment focused on the client and customer journey.
  • Manage and support the Customer Lead, enabling their success in client-focused strategies and ensuring alignment with overarching marketing goals.

Customer & Client Marketing

  • Champion our client in all aspects of marketing, ensuring customer-focused decisions and strategies.
  • Work closely with the Customer Lead to expand CRM capabilities, devise dedicated activations, and enhance segmentation and targeting.
  • Enable the creation of client engagement plans, providing clear guidance to retail and digital teams, and ensuring success is measured through KPIs.

Digital Marketing & Global Content

  • Lead the strategy and execution of global digital marketing channels, including websites, email marketing, and social media.
  • Ensure cohesive and engaging digital content across all platforms, reflecting the brand's vision and customer expectations.
  • Integrate digital campaigns with in-store happenings and customer touchpoints.

Brand Management

  • Manage and maintain meaningful relationships with brand partners, building on and inciting commercially led opportunities.
  • Develop and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns that align with brand objectives and customer expectations.
  • Set and oversee the strategy for in-house brand content, managing the Digital Content Lead and collaborating with external creatives to deliver impactful messaging.
  • Collaborate and work closely with other departments including Merchandise and PR.

Performance & KPI Management

  • Work with the team to leverage data and insights to understand audience segmentation and optimise marketing efforts.
  • Accountability for the measurement of campaigns and client engagement plans through KPIs, ensuring alignment with business goals.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 10+ years of marketing experience, with a strong focus on customer-centric marketing.
  • Extensive background in the fashion industry or relevant experience in other creative or premium sectors.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire creative and marketing teams while championing the customer journey.
  • Experience managing global digital marketing channels (websites, email, social media) and developing integrated campaigns.
  • Expertise in building and managing CRM strategies, segmentation, and client engagement plans.
  • Strong understanding of client data and KPIs to drive decision-making.
  • Strong knowledge of DSM brands, including Comme des Garçons, and existing connections within the fashion industry
