Head of Legal - Dispute Resolution - 12 Month FTC

Are you an outstanding lawyer passionate about resolving complex disputes and providing strategic legal advice? Specsavers is seeking an exceptional Head of Legal - Dispute Resolution to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. If you have a knack for navigating legal challenges and are ready to make a significant impact, this could be your next exciting role!

As the Head of Legal - Dispute Resolution, you'll lead a team of five direct reports focusing on the provision of legal services in UK & ROI to the Specsavers' Group on Partner employment issues, Store related legal issues, Incident Management issues, and relevant investigations. You'll have the opportunity to influence at all levels up to the board, making a tangible impact on our business operations.

You'll be providing specialist advice on, implementing and supporting the agreed strategy in resolving broad range of commercial issues/disputes which may arise within the Group's UK & ROI operations Joint Venture businesses. You'll deal with a substantial and varied caseload of potentially complex legal issues efficiently and cost-effectively with minimum supervision. This may include leading or assisting with cases that are or could develop into highly visible / potentially brand sensitive issues.

We're looking for a dynamic individual who thrives in a high-growth environment, can handle a diverse and demanding caseload with minimal supervision.

You'll need to have significant employment law expertise and experience. You'll also need strong complex dispute resolution/avoidance experience (both contentious and non-contentious), and have good knowledge of company secretarial law and procedure.
