This is a unique opportunity to join recently established JERA Nex and work directly with the CIO, the Risk and Investment Committee and the Board of JERA Nex.

You will be core part of the newly established Investments, M&A and Valuation team where you will be able to help shape the company's investments strategy, organisation and internal investment and valuation policies and decision-making processes. Furthermore, you will have direct responsibility for establishing and maintaining the company's medium and long-term investment plan in close cooperation with the CIO and senior management of the offshore and onshore businesses within JERA Nex.

• At least 5-7 years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking or other advisory; strong experience with global renewable energy businesses is considered an advantage.
• Experience in overseeing complex financial modelling, corporate budgeting and planning and comprehensive valuation analyses.
• Strong track-record of leading project-based teams of junior professionals and working effectively in a collaborative environment with various internal and external stakeholders to deliver high quality work in a timely manner.
• Experience in leading investment analysis, presentations and decision papers and presenting those to senior management, BoDs and external stakeholders.
• Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.

What You Will Do

• Work alongside the CIO, CEO and other senior management of JERA Nex in shaping up the company's investment strategy and internal investment and valuation policies and approval processes globally.
• Oversee financial modelling and valuation analysis work prospective investments and divestments of renewable energy assets / projects or companies.
• Evaluate and challenge inputs to investment decisions, especially those inputs that are key to valuation results including identifying key value drivers.
• Pinpoint and address core issues within business processes, evaluating risks when making decisions and identifying areas of improvement across the CIO area.
• Effectively communicate across the organisation and ensure informed senior management decisions and that financial impacts are understood by all internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead the investment approval process including liaising with various business owners, senior management and the BoD of JERA Nex.
• Lead special projects and business initiatives across the JERA Nex organisation globally and monitor their progress.
