Head of Indirect Sales - Workspace & Production

Job Purpose and Summary

Canon UK&I are looking for a Head of Indirect Sales in this role you will.

  • Drive profitable, sustainable growth within our Channel Partners aligned to our Mid Term Plans across our Workspace and Production portfolio
  • Drive excellence in Partner and end customer satisfaction through implementation of our propositions through the sales teams.
  • Support our ambition to provide a 'World Class' Partner Experience.
  • Set and deliver strategy to deliver growth and profitability into partner organisation
  • Lead by example promoting Canon's wider portfolio offering across the teams and partners whilst taking full responsibility for the sales activity across the workspace offering
  • Lead activities required to meet SLA and contractual objectives of our partners
  • Share best practice across channel communities both UK and Europe
  • Support the identification and development of the vertical specific opportunities across partner markets
  • Define actions to support sales productivity targets
  • Support the growth of Canon UK channel through identification of new partners and partner types i.e. Systems Houses
  • Define and lead the development activities required to ensure high performing sales teams
  • Coach and develop Sales Managers ensuring success in channel
  • Ensure robust cost control and management regarding partner activities in close collaboration with channel development and marketing teams
  • Identify any major deviations from the sales target and define action plans accordingly
  • Work closely with Channel Director to ensure key mid term plan initiatives are delivered
  • Work in close collaboration and the matrix environments within CUK and other European NSO's

What we ask

You will display:

  • Strong written & oral communication, along with excellent interpersonal skills

  • Working knowledge of Oracle & Salesforce.com desirable
  • Good IT skills (MS Office suite)
  • Be educated to GCSE / A Level in English & Mathematics
