Movember is the leading charity changing the face of men's health globally, tackling mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer, testicular cancer. In our mission to stop men dying too young, we're seeking a passionate Head of Impact Campaigns to join our London based team.

About the role
You will design and deliver social impact plans and campaigns, as part of a collaborative, cross functional team, laddering up to our new organisational Impact Strategy. This position is being offered on a full time fixed term contract period of 12 months. Movember is a hybrid-first organisation and you will have the opportunity to work flexibly, blending your time between home and our office.

You'll have the opportunity to

  • Support local markets as they build out communications plans and move into execution
  • Lead on the communication elements of Movember's global campaigns, working in partnership with the relevant Campaign leads
  • Work with specialist media/comms agency to develop a communication strategy
  • Take responsibility for partner identification, engagement, and co-ordination
  • Lead on the internal communications and management of RACI
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with external partners, internal stakeholders, the creative community and the mental health sector
  • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver campaign/activity
  • Use data and analytics to inform decision making
  • Approach challenges with creativity, pragmatism and innovation
  • Negotiate with and influence others at a senior level
  • Work collaboratively as part of a successful team
  • Flexible and comfortable in a rapidly changing working environment
  • Work with multiple external agencies, media and partners to achieve best outcomes

For this role, you'll need

  • 10+ years' experience, some of which has included working on programs that combine communications and behaviour change
  • A depth of knowledge and a passion for using communications and media to achieve behaviour change with the associated skills in designing interventions using behaviour change techniques
  • Ability to effectively manage a diverse range of stakeholders, both internal and external to the organisation
  • Experience of budget management processes including setting budgets and day to day budget management
  • Fluency in working with evidence data and social research to inform multi-channel campaign design
  • Exceptional understanding of the full marketing mix and practised in measuring media channel effectiveness
  • Experience of managing a range of relationships with a variety of external agencies, media, partners and creative suppliers at the same time
  • Superior planning and project management skills - managing yourself and all partners to deliver all work on time and to the highest standards
  • A collaboration-first approach - the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with external partners, internal stakeholders, the creative community and the mental health sector
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to spot opportunities and act quickly to assess the business alignment and ROI.

Bonus points for

  • Experience in using behaviour change models
  • A depth of knowledge and passion for storytelling
  • Previous experience working in the NFP sector
  • Experience working in a matrix style organisation.
