The Role

The Head of Growth Technology, Growth Operations is a critical role focused on leading and managing AMS's technology strategy within our global growth organization. This role will work in close partnership with the AMS executives leading our Growth and Client Partnering organizations, their leadership teams, and the individual contributors leveraging the various components of the Growth technology stack.

This role drives alignment, prioritization, and cross-functional collaboration with an emphasis on leveraging technology to maximize growth across all areas of AMS. The Head of Growth Technology is a key leader and contributor to our overall growth strategy that is continuously evaluating and enhancing internal processes to drive efficiency and scalability.

The role reports to the Managing Director, Growth Operations.

Key Accountabilities

CLIENT FACING:

  • No direct client-facing responsibilities, but technology roadmap and enablement will support client delivery teams.

INTERNAL:

  • Develops and owns the strategy for "Growth Technology" that aligns with growth objectives and with data management strategy.
  • Track and report ROI and business impact of sales technology investments.
  • Drive adoption of tools by leading training programs, change management initiatives, and ongoing support.
  • Owns CRM for AMS; Establishes governance practices, responsible for implementing business processes, rules, and new functionality to meet user needs.
  • Partners with key growth stakeholders to ensure technology supports key workflows and drives measurable productivity gains.
  • Oversee integration of tools (CRM, marketing automation, analytics platforms, AI/automation tools) into a unified seller experience.
  • Ensures the development of supporting enablement resources to drive adoption and ROI of managed technologies and tools.
  • Lead vendor selection and contract management for sales technology solutions.
  • Champion innovation by evaluating emerging technologies (e.g., AI sales tools, automation) and piloting new solutions.

Skills & Experience

CRITICAL

Strategic Alignment:

  • Ensures strategies, objectives, and priorities align with AMS go-to-market strategy, enablement goals, and overall revenue objectives for assigned teams. Recommends and tracks progress against KPIs/metrics appropriate to achieving objectives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Works seamlessly across Growth Operations teams and other AMS functions to align strategies, share insights, track progress against metrics, and drive coordinated execution on enablement and revenue-driving initiatives.

Talent Development & Engagement:

  • Attracts, develops, and retains exceptional talent by fostering a culture of learning and career growth; Actively supports development and succession planning while creating a highly engaged and collaborative environment where the team feels inspired to deliver at their best.

Process Optimization and Change Management:

  • Continuously evaluates and enhances internal processes to drive efficiency and scalability. Leads change management efforts with minimal disruption while improving team productivity and client outcomes.

CRM Ownership & Governance:

  • Owns AMS' CRM platform (Salesforce), implementing governance, processes, and enhancements to meet evolving business needs. Balances structure with flexibility to track critical client information and meet user needs.

Technology Integration & Interoperability:

  • Ensures seamless integration between CRM and adjacent systems (e.g., marketing automation, incentive tools, analytics platforms) to create a unified user experience and data ecosystem.

Adoption & ROI Management:

  • Monitors technology adoption rates and measures return on investment; Uses insights to refine tools, training, and inform change management tactics.

Project & Portfolio Management:

  • Leads special projects across the Growth Tech stack, ensuring timely delivery, stakeholder alignment, and strategic impact. Manages and evolves the full technology portfolio, including managing SLAs / ROI with technology vendors, to support the changing user needs.

DESIRABLE

  • Experience in sales Technology, RevOps, Sales Enablement, or related functions.
  • Experience with leadership or management responsibility.
  • Proven ownership of Salesforce CRM platform, including governance, customization, and user support.
  • Experience with integrating marketing and sales tools (e.g., 6Sense, Pardot, Marketo, HubSpot).
  • Experience leading technology adoption initiatives and measuring ROI.
  • Experience managing cross-functional technology portfolios and special projects.
  • Experience working within complex, matrixed organizations preferred.
