Description
To provide quality support to our education & training services and assist in the learning process.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend regular meetings.
- To implement policies and procedures as determined by college management.
- To deliver a range of programmes specific to Academy context.
- To prepare structured, developmental sessions and monitor students progress.
- Maintaining up-to-date records relating to the Academy (Registers, student progression).
- To assist in the marketing and publicity of section & Academy activities.
- To participate in the running of trials and interviews for new students.
- To transport students to and from fixtures along with supervising and coaching students while at the games.
- To contribute to the induction of the students.
- To play an effective part in the teamwork of the sports section.
- To operate within an equal opportunities framework and promote equality of opportunity in all aspects.
- To arranging officials for fixtures including their payment.
- To arranging refreshments for fixtures.
- Liaising with the opposition before fixtures.
- To arrange friendly fixtures.
- To build relationships with other organisations within the industry.
- To assist in ordering kit and equipment for the academy.
- To assist in the planning of residentials.
- To work with CL/consultant etc in planning the development of the programme.
- Understanding and supportive of role in relation to wider context and department KPI's e.g grades and attendance.
- Any other duties of a similar level of responsibility as may be required.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Qualifications
Essential Criteria
- D1 or MiDas
- Clean Driving Licence
- Hold National Governing Body Coaching qualifications
- UEFA B Qualification or working towards this
- First Aid Qualification
