This full-time position will commence in May, and we are seeking a passionate German educator who can provide exceptional leadership and guidance to the German department.

As the Head of German, you will have the unique opportunity to shape the direction and vision of the department, creating an innovative and engaging German curriculum that fosters students' language acquisition and cultural understanding. In collaboration with a team of experienced and passionate German teachers, you will develop and deliver high-quality lessons, utilizing a variety of teaching methodologies to cater to different learning styles. Responsibilities

• Provide strong and visionary leadership to the German department
• Oversee and ensure the high quality of teaching and learning in German
• Mentor and support German teachers, fostering their professional growth

• Organize and supervise extracurricular activities related to German language and culture
• Collaborate with colleagues on cross-curricular projects and initiatives

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Specialization in German or a related field
• Postgraduate degree in German or Education (desirable)
• Significant experience teaching German, preferably in a secondary school setting
• Demonstrated leadership and management skills
• Passionate about promoting German language acquisition and cultural understanding
• Effective communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities
• Commitment to continuous professional development in German education
