We have a fantastic new role within Compare the Market, to head up our FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) and Cost area.
This role will require being the lead on our financial planning and analysis (including delivering Budget and forecast, reporting against this, insight against our investment and cost base), alongside having responsibility for defining and delivering finance systems strategy and ongoing usage.

Responsibilities include:
• Executive Partnership
Serve as a trusted partner to the CTM Executive team, providing accurate and timely financial reporting, insights, headcount and budget figures to support decision-making.
• Budgeting and Forecasting
Develop, manage, and reforecast the annual budget, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Lead robust forecasting and planning processes to provide reliable financial projections.
• Cost and Investment Analysis
Deliver actionable insights into costs and investments, including capitalisation, to support strategic business initiatives. Provide clear visibility into spending patterns and return on investment to drive effective delivery prioritisation.
• Management Information (MI) and Data-Driven Insights
Supply relevant management information across the organization, supporting a data-centric culture. Enable business units to make data-driven decisions by ensuring measurement and analytical capabilities are embedded throughout the business.
• Collaboration and Cross-Functional Coordination
Work closely with Commercial Finance to refine business forecasting and enhance financial insight. Collaborate with Data and Technology teams to maintain data and systems consistency, ensuring quality across financial reporting. Act as a critical liaison between finance and delivery teams (tech, data, product). Ensure alignment between financial goals and delivery outputs.
• Finance Systems Strategy and execution
Define and implement a forward-looking finance systems strategy to enhance efficiency and support business growth.
• Leadership
Driving cost and investment thought leadership insight across the business - through both direct team leadership and matrix influencing (including CtM Executive team)
