Why is this role important?

Reporting to our MD and working closely with our parent company in Australia, the Head of FP&A is a new and exciting role for Breathe and will be focused on driving financial strategy, planning and analysis to support company and group wide growth. This is a truly fantastic opportunity for the Head of FP&A to embrace a new role at Breathe - being able to envision the bigger picture as well as the day-to-day updating, budget monitoring and financial modelling is essential. This role inputs into the global monthly business review, annual presentations and other executive level projects.

Responsibilities

  • Leading the Finance department, providing data-driven insights and collaborating across the business to make informed decisions
  • Presenting strategic insights to support executive decision making
  • Working closely with the executive and leadership team to formulate medium to long term financial and strategic plan
  • Overseeing the development and implementation of financial planning processes including budgeting and forecasting
  • Identifying growth opportunities, market trends and potential risks to develop actionable recommendations
  • Developing and maintaining robust financial models for scenario analysis and investment evaluation
  • Delivering financial analysis and reporting, providing transparency and business insight for executive and leadership decision making
  • Presenting weekly financial metrics and analysis to leadership team
  • Evaluating previous budgets and expenditures to develop and implement future budgets
  • Analysing financial and operational results to better understand company performance
  • Monthly preparation of the MBR and analytics
  • Preparing business cases to support new investment, strategic and other business decisions
  • Reviewing processes and recommending changes/ improvements
  • Maintaining awareness of, and being compliant with, information security protocols in relation to your job role and handling of any data

What we value for this role

  • Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA Chartered Accountant or equivalent qualification
  • Strong and progressive FP&A experience
  • Excellent commercial sense and ability to communicate and present complex financial information in a clear way to the business
  • Robust analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex information to technical and non-technical stakeholders
