We are looking for an inspirational Head of Food Studies, teaching KS3 Food Studies and GCSE Food Preparation and Nutrition. Under the current timetable, there are no lessons on Friday afternoons.

You will

  • be an excellent classroom practitioner with a commitment to supporting students to achieve their full potential
  • deliver high quality lessons on a consistent basis
  • be a committed teacher with high levels of professionalism and the desire to develop and enhance the opportunities provided for our students
  • manage behaviour effectively by praising and sanctioning appropriately and in line with academy guidelines
  • have a knowledge of Food Hygiene regulations (preferably a Level 2 Food Safety qualification as a minimum) and a good knowledge of safety in a practical environment.
