As the Head of Finance Transformation for UK&I Accounting & Reporting, you will play a pivotal role in driving change and transformation initiatives within the finance function.

Reporting directly to the Finance Director - UK&I, you will have full accountability for leading and integrating change across the UK&I Reporting and Control team. Your responsibilities will include partnering closely with senior stakeholders to facilitate the transition towards the delivery of strategic objectives.

This role presents an exciting opportunity to lead and transform finance operations, collaborating closely with stakeholders to drive efficiency and deliver strategic objectives within the UK&I Finance function.

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Lead successful delivery and integration of change and transformation initiatives across the UK&I Reporting and Control team, focusing on key business and functional projects
  • Collaborate with the UK&I Accounting and Control team to ensure the integrity of UK&I financial results.
  • Manage the relationship with TGBS (Global Business Services), ensuring key activities align with expectations and the finance blueprint on shared services.
  • Identify and implement process improvements in collaboration with heads of departments.
  • Troubleshoot finance issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Act as a key liaison between group and market teams to manage and prioritise change activities, such as ERP readiness and TGBS blueprint implementation & Audit relationships.
  • Lead efficiency projects within UK&I Accounting and Reporting, overseeing the transformation process with GBS.
  • Key leadership role and responsibility for building engagement across all UK&I Finance teams.

ABOUT YOU

  • Qualified Accountant with hands-on leadership experience and a strong understanding of end-to-end financial processes.
  • Proven ability to solve problems efficiently and drive resolutions, willing to take a hands-on approach.
  • Familiarity with the TUI UK & Ireland business model.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to prioritize and deliver projects.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of conveying high-level concepts to senior stakeholders while also diving into complex details.
  • Self-starter with the initiative to work autonomously.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate complex information and recommend business solutions.
  • A proactive attitude towards change and improvement, serving as a role model to the finance team.
