Head of Finance and Operations - PE backed cosmetic brand!

Investigo are partnering with a really incredible market leading cosmetic brand who are seeking a Head of Finance and Operations. This is a fast growing start up business which is having incredible success in both the UK and USA.

Seeking someone who has ambitions to grow with this business, implement and improve processes and systems and work closely with the CEO, Founder and Investors.

Salary: £80,000 - £90,000 + bonus + equity

Location: Central London (Victoria) x2 days in the office x3 working from home

Job Description:

• Responsible for leading the Global Finance strategy
• Provide financial insights, strategic decision-making. Working closely with the Founder and Board, offering expertise on financial matters
• Responsible for budgeting, forecasting, managing year end and audit
• Group consolidation, inter-company accounts as well as consolidating UK and US accounts
• Responsible for ensuring the UK and US accounting standards are met
• Support with investment opportunities
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger activities
• Business partnering with functional heads to provide financial insights
• Commercial strategy modelling, pricing,etc

Personal Skills and Attributes:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Applicants MUST have experience working in a start up environment (ideally retail but not essential)
• Proven experience improving and implementing systems
• Business partnering skills, able to present to the Investors and the CEO
• Strong communication skills, commercially and strategically minded
• Ambitious, driven and professional
